When the Creativity Goes Quiet
I want to be honest with you today, because I think some of you might need to hear it.

Somewhere in the last year, my creativity started to slip away. It didn't leave all at once. It faded slowly, the way a candle burns down when you aren't watching. One day I looked up and realized I couldn't find it.
Last year I worked so hard. I poured myself into growing my shop and adding new offerings, and I was proud of that. But lately I've noticed something that stung a little: not everyone who follows me on Facebook ever sees what I post. All that effort, and some of it never reached the people I made it for.
That realization hit my confidence, and I think it also woke up some old limiting beliefs. You know the ones. Maybe it isn't good enough. Maybe nobody cares. Maybe I've already given everything I had. Those thoughts are quiet, but they are very good at crowding out creativity. It's hard to make something new when a voice in your head is asking whether anyone will even see it.
So here is what I'm doing about it.
I'm separating my worth from the algorithm. Whether a post shows up in your feed has nothing to do with the value of what I made. It's a system, not a verdict.
Candles and Ritual Sets --> Shop Here
I'm giving myself permission to create gently. Creativity doesn't come back when I demand it. It comes back when I make space for it. Some evenings that means lighting one of my candles and sitting with a notebook, with no goal except to be there. Some mornings it means slowing down with my ritual set, setting an intention for the day before I think about to-do lists. And when I need a reminder that the spark was never really gone, I think of my Fall and Halloween earrings, the polymer clay collection I made last year. I poured so much of myself into them, and they remind me that I've done this before. I can do it again.
Fall and Halloween Earrings --> Shop Here
I'm making it easier for you to find me. Facebook doesn't always show my posts to everyone who follows me, and I don't want you to miss anything. If you'd like to see what I share, you can follow my page and choose "See First" in your feed settings. When something I post speaks to you, a quick like or comment tells Facebook you want to see more of me, and it means more than you know. You can also visit my website anytime to see what's new in the shop.
I'm choosing to keep going. Confidence isn't something I'm waiting to feel before I add new pieces to the shop. I think it's built by adding them anyway, one small step at a time.
If your creativity has gone quiet too, I want you to know you aren't broken, and you haven't run out. You're likely tired, a little discouraged, and in need of some kindness. Be as patient with yourself as you would be with a friend.
I'm still finding my way back, and I'm glad you're here with me while I do.
Now I'd love to hear from you. How do you find your way back to your creativity when it goes quiet? Leave a comment and tell me. I'm listening, and I think we can learn from each other.
If you feel called to support this dream, you can explore the shop or help fuel the magick behind Root & Rising. Every purchase, share, and kind interaction helps nurture this little vision into something warm, intentional, and deeply meaningful.
Rooted, curious, and learning every step,
Bobbi Ann
