Why the Fuck Does It Always Feel Like This?

I am so tired. Tired of waking up every damn day, pouring my heart, my energy, my everything into the world… and not a single soul seems to notice. Not a word. Not a nod. Not a “thank you.” Not a “hey, I see you.”

I’ve written about this before. I’ve spilled my frustration and pain onto these pages. And yet… here I am again, drowning in it. And it makes me question everything: Am I too much? Not enough? Did I fuck up somewhere? Did I say the wrong thing? Did I do the wrong thing?
I know part of my struggle is how hard it is for me to take care of myself. I’ve spent my whole life taking care of others—muting who I really am just to be accepted, just to be loved, just to feel like I belong. I have three beautiful daughters who gift me things meant to nurture me, to remind me to care for myself. And I… I don’t always know how. I don’t know how to give myself permission to rest, to breathe, to just be.

It doesn’t help that I’m trying to help my husband financially, keeping up with bills, responsibilities, stress. I long for a weekend away with him, to reconnect, to breathe together, to just enjoy each other before we’re empty nesters. I feel stretched thin, weighed down, overwhelmed, wanting to help but knowing there’s only so much I can do. I can’t speak for him. I can only speak for me—and right now, I feel invisible in my own life, aching to simply be seen.

And yet, I know why I’m here. My purpose. My mission. I’m here to help others. To inspire. To create. To share a little light and magic. That’s why I write this blog. That’s why I make the items in my shop. I want people to read my words and feel. To feel seen. To feel inspired. To feel like maybe they’re not alone. I want them to hold something I made and feel a spark, a connection, a whisper that says, “I see you. I hear you. You matter.”
And maybe that’s the lesson I need to remind myself: my worth isn’t determined by anyone else. It’s not measured by who notices me, who thanks me, who validates me. My giving, my love, my care—they belong to me first. And that… that is enough. That is fucking enough.

So here I am. Hurting, raw, angry, exhausted—but still giving. Still creating. Still showing up. Not because I need someone to see me, not because I need anyone to validate me—but because I need me to see me. Because my heart is generous, and I won’t stop giving. And I will keep creating. I will keep writing. I will keep sharing little sparks of light and magic, because that is my gift. That is my truth.
Even when it feels like no one’s watching, I see me. And maybe… that’s enough.
Rooted, raw, and holding my own fire.
Blessed Be,
Bobbi
