The Power of Intuition, and the Power of Listening to It

Updated: Jun 3

There’s a quiet voice that lives within us—one that doesn’t shout or demand, but simply knows. That voice is intuition. It isn’t loud like fear. It doesn’t overanalyze like the mind. It’s more like a nudge, a warm feeling, a tug in a certain direction… and when we learn to trust it, it becomes one of the most powerful guides we have.

My intuition has always been strong. For as long as I can remember, it's lived in me like a steady stream—flowing beneath the surface, always there, even when I wasn’t listening. There have been many times I’ve pushed the feeling aside, only to have it rise up again later, reminding me of what I already knew.

I’ve walked into job interviews and felt my intuition speak immediately, whispering that it wasn’t the right fit. Sometimes I’ve listened. Other times, I haven’t. And almost always, that deep knowing proved itself right in time.

Intuition doesn’t always arrive as a peaceful, poetic whisper. Sometimes, it roars through the body. For me, it can show up as a wave of nausea, a headache that lingers for days, or a heavy, restless anxiety that I can’t shake. It's as if my body is trying to tell me what my mind is trying to override.

These symptoms aren't random—they're sacred signals.

Learning to listen to our intuition is a practice of returning. Returning to trust. Returning to self. And returning to the language our spirit has always spoken, long before we had words for it.

Whether you call it a gut feeling, your inner witch, divine guidance, or just “a vibe”—there’s real power in paying attention to it.

So today, I invite you to pause.

Breathe.

Listen.

What’s your intuition trying to tell you?

You might be surprised by what you already know.

🌿 Let's share by the fire...

Have you ever listened to your intuition—and what happened when you did (or didn’t)?

Does your intuition speak through your body, too?

I’d love to hear your story in the comments below, or send me a message if you’d rather share quietly. Let’s learn from each other. Let’s honor the ways our spirits speak.

Blessed Be,

Bobbi Ann
