🌱 One Month In: Watching Our Garden Bloom With Joy

It’s been just over a month since we planted our very first garden, and I have to say—I’m completely in awe. Click here to see where we started. Every morning when I step outside, I feel a little thrill of excitement seeing how much everything has grown. 🌱

Our cilantro is reaching for the sky—it’s growing so tall and full, as if it’s just as excited to be here as we are. And our bell peppers? They’re already growing actual peppers! I couldn’t believe it the first time I spotted one. There’s something so magical about watching a tiny plant turn into something you can hold in your hands, smell, taste, and cook with. It's pure joy.

It’s easy to forget just how much care and intention we poured into this garden when we started. At the time, it felt like a gentle hope. Now, standing here in the midst of so much green life, I’m honestly impressed by the work we did. And it’s not just the garden that’s growing—I think we're growing too.
There’s a rhythm to gardening that’s been so healing: checking on the soil, watering in the evening light, noticing the smallest changes. It’s helped me slow down and pay attention. Every new leaf feels like a little reward for showing up with care.
We still have plans to add more—spinach and romaine lettuce are next on our list—but right now, I’m just soaking in the beauty of what we’ve already created. This little patch of earth is teaching me so much about patience, gratitude, and trust.
🌸 What’s growing in your world right now?
Whether you have a full garden, a pot of herbs on your windowsill, or just the desire to start, I’d love to hear how your green journey is going.
Are you harvesting anything yet?
Have you had any surprises in your garden?
Let’s keep this growing together.
🌿 P.S. If you’ve been enjoying these little garden updates, keep an eye out for upcoming posts where I’ll be sharing the magic of basil and cilantro—two of our favorite summer herbs. From kitchen recipes to spiritual uses, there’s so much joy blooming there too. 🌿
Blessed Be and happy tending,
